Friend in the Woods
(Lucas Hartley, 2025)
DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
This film aims to make the viewer question what they see in the shadows of the woods, and whether what they perceive is as frightening as it may seem. By creating an uncomfortable, surreal environment, the titular "Friend in the Woods" has been twisted from something that would originally provide a sense of comfort and warmth in a creature far more sinister. Make sure to watch in a dark room, preferably with headphones on!
