DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
Inspired by How to Save a Life by The Fray, I wanted to create a film that speaks to an experience many of us have lived through, yet few dare to talk about. When I began sharing this story, I really struck me how many people quietly came forward with their own - almost identical - experiences. My hope is that this film offers a different perspective and becomes a voice for those who have yet found their own.
Making this has been such a dream come through. The film means incredibly lot to me, and I couldn't have done it without the help of my incredible crew - talented and dedicated people who went above and beyond.
This film is produced as part of my practice-based dissertation project.
SYNOPSIS
At nineteen, Eve feels herself drifting away from her once close friend Morgan, who seems to be slipping deeper into despair. As Morgan withdraws into self-destructive decisions, Eve battles an intense inner conflict. Caught between fear and blame, Eve struggles to understand where responsibility truly lies.
