Letter Box
(Emily Shields, 2026)
DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
This short film was inspired by Hesiod's depictions of Pandora, intending to adapt his mythology into a modern setting; using the methods of both contemporary feminist authors and mythological filmic adaptions to create a short film that re-frames Pandora's figure.
This film is produced as part of my practice-based dissertation project.
