As contemporary life becomes increasingly urbanised and technology-dependent, my
work reflects a desire to reconnect with the physical and sensory experience of
nature—to become absorbed in its colour, movement, and atmosphere. My paintings
explore how this rhythm can be felt, inviting the viewer to find their own path around the
work, as one might in a forest. Traces of each painting’s construction remain visible on
the floor and on the fabric’s surface, creating a dialogue between memory, material, and
movement. The landscape is never still, and neither are the paintings. These works
invite the viewer to become immersed in an organic space that echoes the experience
of the forest.
