Latex mixed media series
Rooted in feminist ideas, my work explores the connection between the body and landscapes, treating the body itself as a terrain. Using latex and mixed media, I create layered surfaces that resemble skin, wounds, erosion, and geological forms. I am interested in how both bodies and landscapes hold traces of time, trauma, memory, and transformation. Latex becomes a material that can stretch, tear, peel, and heal, reflecting the vulnerability and resilience of the (female) body. Through a series of latex sheets, the boundaries between flesh and environment blur, creating spaces where the physical and emotional bind together.
