'The Weight of Grace' is a visceral exploration of the artist’s physique as a canvas for both digital and physical transformation. In art forms like ballet, the relentless pursuit of perfection often forces the artist to teeter on the edge of obsession and psychological breakdown. This film captures that internal friction, and serves as a study of the human form pushed to its limit, where the grace of the performer finally breaks under the weight of its own ambition.
SYNOPSIS
Experimental dance film exploring the duality of a dancer’s psyche. This dancer, pushes herself and her artform to the limits, taking an innocent interest into a brutal obsession. She drives herself mad in the pursuit of perfection, until finally the grace of the performer finally breaks under the weight of its own ambition.
