My work aims to explore the progressively destructive relationship between humanity and nature by covering different moments in the Anthropocene through animated film. Through non-linear sequences, my films each act as representations of important timestamps in our human history, depicting scenarios that urge the question of whether our destructive attitude toward the future today as a species is inherent and deep rooted in our history.

Presented on three monitors are three different animated films I produced, each following the same structure of events but taking place at different moments of the Anthropocene. By using different methods of animation, ranging from hand drawn and painted to 3d rendered and CG, I hope to represent each period as distinct, yet in line in a repetitive cycle of behaviour.

The real meaning of my work will be found when observing all three films in conjunction, allowing you to draw your own comparisons between each period of time and to come to your own conclusions about what our status is as animals on the Earth.
